The short version

Your documents and mail are yours. We don't sell data, show ads, or mine your work. What you create is encrypted at rest and never trained on.

What we store

Your account (email, name, password hash), your documents (encrypted at rest), mail (stays with your provider; encrypted cache, 365-day retention), and AI usage counts (for the honest monthly meter).

What the AI sees

When you ask Forgey, the text travels to our licensed frontier AI API operated by Hangzhou DeepSeek for inference. To be exact about it: we don't sell your data. We don't use your private files to train AI. We don't build advertising profiles from your activity. We don't scan your documents to target you with ads. AI output may contain errors — treat it as a draft, not advice. Your Drive is encrypted at rest today, and we are building the Vault — end-to-end encryption where even we cannot read your files.

Your controls

Delete your account or files anytime — removed from storage. Full export or deletion on request (see Contact).

Local by design

Analytics are local-only. No third-party trackers. Ads? We don't do that.

Search (pumSEARCH) is powered by the open-source SearXNG engine (AGPL-3.0). Our modified source is available on request via the contact address in the footer — that's the licence, and we honour it.
